Ridiculous

July 24, 2006

I think it’s ridiculous how people try to own time and space
it’s embarassing to me and to the whole human race
I can’t relate to the ways and the games that we play
to decieve and conceal our misdeeds and our greed

And now I’m wishing that the people would just open their eyes
and see the beautiful life that we’d have if we tried
just gotta get up – stand up for the just and the right
believe in yourself, don’t ever give up the fight

‘Cause there’s a deadly plague ravaging the mannequin hordes,
a sickle-cell creation passing through across the board
I’m sick with something more, got monsters knocking down my door,
filled with evil inclinations towards violence and gore,
this is a war, son! and your soul is the prize
do you want to be free or do you want to be lied to?
I see through all the wicked games that are played
by the rich white americans who want us enslaved,
But relax – the only way out is with your mind,
and you can’t think to straight if you’re just frettin all the time
take a moment everyday to reconnect with The Divine,
find a calm place to sit down and focus your mind
I know it’s hard at first, but you can do it for sure,
just focus on the part of you that’s holy and pure
keep your senses open and watch for the signs,
the portal is approaching, only you can step inside

Oh, I really really want to be with Most High, everyday!

Oh, I really really want to be with Most High, do you hear what I say?

Oh, I really really want to be with Most High, everyday, everyday of my life!

And you know, it won’t be like that every day,
but that won’t stop me from trying anyway,
I know I’m limited, truly all I am is a man,
but I have to believe that I’m part of the plan,
Now if you’re hearing these words and you get a feeling inside,
you have to follow it, it’s how you know you’re alive!
Don’t hide from your emotions, never be afraid to cry!
always listen to your body, it’s the meaning of wise,

Keep on trying and striving, and one day you might
wake up feeling that the universe is really alright
Keep on trying and striving, and one day you might
wake up feeling that the universe is really alright
Keep on trying and striving, and one day you might
wake up feeling that the universe is really alright
Keep on trying and striving, and one day you might
wake up feeling that the universe is really alright

Mind Shine

July 18, 2006

I’ve been working on this one for a few days, hopefully I’ll have the recording done soon.

Sweet waves chased away temporarily,
Placed just out of sight like optic nerves,
Hidden inside my eyes.

My Blind Spot is a gift,
A precious agony,
A terrible separation from my own preferred reality,
A holy darkness between lights,
But sight unseen, the light frightens me to the core,
Until a rain cloud forms over my head
and then it pours,
I’m searching and groping around in the rain
to find that door,
But what’s in store for the souldier and seer who
holds his own confusion so close and so dear?

If he listens, he’ll hear,
And here is where his own light shines -
Softer and dimmer, but greater in kind.

In mind, we all strive towards the design,
But ignorance always corrupts and maligns the signs, sent,
And we’re left to defend the Higher Sense
against bodily blindness and wicked intent.

So I’m spending days to cultivate my intentions,
Straddling sentiments and Hot Buttered Blessings:
Drippin, Sizzling, Satisfying;
Elevating, Educating, Elucidating Everyone
with sunshine for the mind -

Rain Clouds

July 7, 2006

A rain cloud forms over my head and then it pours
Searching and groping around in the rain to find that door
You’ve got to be warned as you get soaked to the core:
It rains on the evil and the good in even score.

I Don’t Want to Be a Corpse

July 2, 2006

Untitled

I don’t want to be a corpse
riding the train in silence
just standing with the pole in hand
trying not to smile
I don’t want to just float through
through the tunnels like a lazy mule
staring blankly in between the bodies
hoping not to feel

These people, I see
I know – they are me
much closer than farther,
the distance between beings

From time to time, I feel this connection
a sensation of worthwhile warmth
passing over us from above
while growing from deep inside
I feel as those around me feel
I share the space, the time the air
we breathe together

my נשמה, my soul delivers consciousness, whole and pure
I travel time on
a subway line
the doorway chime
marks the seconds in my mind

I can realign my own divinity in the space of this time
I can unassign my ego from its place of self-design
I can see inside my being I can see inside my mind

and when it’s time…
ברוך השם!
to earth my body will resign

I’m Going to Take You All Over the Place

July 2, 2006

I’m going to take you all over the place, and hopefully you’re going to have just a taste of what it’s like when I open my mind’s eye, and try to describe what I find.

The last test of an imposing crest of blessings vexed the best set of leftists, so I spent the day dissecting alphabets and setting sounds in test pattens – YES!

Rest carefully instead of fretting, Caress the nest instead of guessing what to do. Should we zoom in an luminous tunes? Croon and swoon, filled up to the brim, let’s spin again and send sparks ahead to them.

Let’s get them to listen, let’s get them to understand, let’s bless his name endlessly over again. Let’s tend to the sick and the swollen and then let’s spend time to right all the wrongs and defend the friendless alone and unknown.

Sew a thread to mend their broken heads.

Send them a prayer and lend them a hand until we can all dance together in the end, we’ll all have to try harder to blend the blasted broken and bent pieces of our nation.

we were here since before creation, our letters were called on to set things in motion…

…and NOW?…

…And now we’re left with petro-fried potato corn wheat chips packed in plastic, placed in pantries all over the land. Damned oil companies set up the plan! and Man and WoMan Stand and demand better brands and deeper tans and bigger vans to move their fams, FUKGLAM!

That shameless scam is too bland for this man!

I’d rather spend my energy studying the centuries, rather use my voice to lift this earth up to the heavenly.
